NAMASKARAM
Namaskaram is the joining of both hands together , If we keep hands above the head, it is a salutation to GOD, if NAMASKARAM is done at forehead is the salutation to the GURU, and if is done before the chest is salutation to Pundits’ and the Audience, and an apology to mother earth for stamping the feet hard on her. This is done before and after the Dance practice or Performance. It is important to know about NAMASKARAM before learning the Dance.
